Responsibilities for Accounting/Payroll Specialist
- Process a high-volume, weekly union payroll for up to 130 employees across multiple nationwide projects.
- The Accounting/Payroll Specialist will handle payroll complexities, including manual layoff checks, garnishments, subsistence pay, and certified payroll accuracy.
- Manage multi-state payroll processes while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- The Accounting/Payroll Specialist will take the lead on payroll-related projects to enhance efficiency and system compliance.
Qualifications for Accounting/Payroll Specialist
- Experience with union or construction payroll is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and the ability to manage moderate data analysis tasks.
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing is highly desirable.
